Cedar City, Utah
Anna Marie Givani Milliman passed away on Saturday January 25th, 2025 in Cedar City, Utah after a brief illness. She was born on August 18, 1932 in Milford, Massachusetts to Joseph and Lena Givani. Anna Marie Givani married James Albert Milliman on April 23, 1955 in Milford, Massachusetts. They had their first daughter on January 4th, 1958 and named her Deborah Jean. They had their second daughter and last child on August, 4th 1962 and named her Maureen.
They eventually left Milford, Massachusetts and went across the country to start a new life in Baldwin Park, California. After some years there they settled in Fillmore, California where they lived for over 20 years. She had worked at the Sunkist Packing House in Fillmore for many years. Her and Jim went and traveled the 48 inland states in their 5th wheel trailer after retirement and eventually settled on Utah. They built a home in New Harmony and she lived there from 1996 until 2005. Sadly, Jim had passed away in 2005. She moved to Cedar City in 2006 and had been there until death. Anna loved to travel and camp which she did lots of with Jim and others. She enjoyed puzzles and coloring. She enjoyed singing at home with the music playing full blast while she cleaned or made many of her great meals. She also loved to visit with and entertain with friends and family. She had a great sense of humor and would have done anything for anyone in need. She was the sweetest person and everyone’s best friend in her eyes. She was a lifelong parishioner of the Roman Catholic faith. She loved her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandkids as they were everything to her and she will be deeply missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jim, both of her parents, and siblings Renaldo, Angelo, Lillian, Julia, and Clotilda.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Milliman of St. George, Utah and Maureen (Naveen) Prasad of Lancaster, California, siblings Pauline Calderara of Milford, New Hampshire and Angelina (Richard) Harty of Summerdale, Alabama, grandchildren Benjamin (Kimberly) Bustos of Cedar City, Utah, Damian (Dalton) Bustos of Cedar City, Utah, Kimberly Milliman of St. George, Utah, James Prasad of Lancaster, California, and Adrian (Melissa) Prasad of Lancaster, California, many great grandkids, great-great grandkids, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A special thank you to her good friends Trilby, Peter, Lin, and Jonathan for always including her in many functions and being more like family than friends.
The family would also like to express their appreciation and gratitude for all of the staff at Cedar Health and Rehabilitation for all they ever done over the years that she was a resident. She loved you all!
