She loved animals, especially her horses. She graduated from Clark High School in 1976 and attended Dixie College in St. George, Utah for a short time. She met the love of her life, Lewis Sharp. during those days in Alamo. They were married September 29, 1978 in Alamo and were later sealed in the St. George temple on October 20, 1979. They have four children and 15 grandchildren. In 1984 her small family moved to Elko, Nevada to start their own business. She lived in Elko where they raised their family for the next 28 years. She and her husband moved to Alamo in 2013. No matter where she lived she was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
