Charlene Derosier

–

Cedar City, Utah

It is with profound love and respect that we celebrate the life of Charlene Derosier, affectionately known to many as Char. Born on June 30, 1936, in Sandwich, IL, Charlene brought into this world a spirit of love, grace, and faith that touched everyone she met. A humble and loving soul, she was an inspiring source of strength and solace to her family, friends, and patients throughout her life.

Charlene’s passion for life was evident in her diverse interests, which ranged from her love for roses and hummingbirds to her fascination with horses. She was an ardent patriot, waving the American Flag year-round. Charlene had an inspiring career as a physical therapist, a vocation she cherished after graduating with a degree from UCLA. Her thoughtful care and dedication to her patients were commendable. In her retirement, she found joy in her garden, particularly in her cherished rose garden, where she spent countless hours nurturing the blossoms she loved so much.

Charlene's life was a living testimony of her deep faith in Jesus Christ. She believed in God the Father as our Creator, Jesus Christ as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our Guide and Comforter. Her faith provided her strength and joy, and she lived each day to honor God through kindness and love. As it is written in the scriptures, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” (Matthew 25:23). Charlene is now home with the Lord in Heaven through her faith in Jesus Christ.

Charlene is survived by her daughter Renee DeRosier, her son Marc (Yaling) DeRosier, her grandsons Joshua DeRosier, Ronnie (Joseline) DeRosier, Jeremy (Orissa) Gross, and Matt (Amanda) White, her daughters-in-law Karla (Mike) DeGonia, Orissa (Jeremy) Gross, Yaling (Marc) DeRosier, and her granddaughters Katie DeRosier, Krista Kolonis, Amanda (Matt) White. She was preceded in death by her sons Kurt DeRosier and Carl DeRosier, her parents Frank (Pauline) Bunch, and her brother Frank (Ann) Bunch Jr.

We invite you to share your memories of Charlene, upload photos, and celebrate her inspiring life on her memorial page. Your shared experiences and stories will serve as a beautiful tribute to a woman whose life was a testament of love and faith.
