It is with both profound sadness and immense love that we remember the life of Deborah Jean Jenkins, fondly known as Debbie. Born on February 17, 1957, to her proud parents in San Diego, California, Debbie brought joy, light, and love to everyone she encountered throughout her wonderful life. Possessing an indomitable spirit, she was a beacon of resilience and love, embodying the words of Maya Angelou, "I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it."
Debbie was a compassionate soul who had the extraordinary ability to touch the hearts of those around her. With her loving heart and generous spirit, she left an indelible mark on all who had the good fortune to know her. Known for her infectious smile and her kind heart, Debbie was a friend to all, providing comfort in times of need and celebrating in times of joy. Her generosity extended beyond boundaries; she gave freely, not just material possessions, but also her time, her wisdom, and most importantly, her love.
Family was the cornerstone of Debbie's life. She dedicated herself to creating a loving and nurturing environment for her loved ones. And in return, she was surrounded by the love and affection of her family until her final moments on July 27, 2024. Her family will always remember her as a resilient woman with a loving heart, a compassionate soul, and a generosity that knew no bounds.
As we mourn the loss of Debbie, we also celebrate her beautiful life and the precious memories she left behind. As the sun sets and rises again, we remember her and smile, for she lived a life full of love, compassion, and resilience. She truly personified the words of Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart."
Please join us in honoring Debbie's beautiful life by sharing your memories, stories, and photos on our memorial page. It is in these shared moments that her spirit will continue to live on, touching us, guiding us, and reminding us of the love she had for us all.
