Eduardo Gutierrez Nava, known to his loved ones as Eddie, passed away on November 2, 2024. Eduardo was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, on May 8, 1989, and spent his life bringing joy and laughter to those around him. With a personality as grand and bright as the landscapes he loved, Eduardo was a free spirit who found joy in adventure, spontaneity, and the roar of a motorcycle engine.
Eduardo was a smart, funny, and courageous man who took life by the handlebars. His love for motorcycles, shooting his guns, and working on vehicles was not just a hobby, but a way of life. His courage and spirit made him a beloved auto mechanic in Cedar City, Utah. His work was not just a job, but a testament to his love for life, his ingenuity, and his adventurous spirit. Eduardo had lived in various cities including San Diego, Palm Springs, San Bernardino, and Oxnard, but he always considered Cedar City his home.
His love for his family and friends was unparalleled. He is survived by his mother, Margarita Nava, his son Sebastian Gutierrez, his sister Cindy Perchez, his step-father Leopoldo Perchez, and his ex-wife Natasha Nava. Eduardo was preceded in death by his father, Raul Gutierrez. His memories will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12:00pm MST at Cedar Valley Funeral and Cremation, 2086 N Main Street, Cedar City, Utah, 84721. We invite all who knew Eduardo to join in celebrating his vibrant life.
We encourage those who knew and loved Eduardo to leave memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Let's remember him as the funny, smart, courageous, and adventurous man he was. His spirit, like the motorcycles he loved so much, will continue to roar in our hearts.
