Helen Morales Gonzales
May 6, 1937 – October 7, 2025

Helen Morales Gonzales, 88, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in Cedar City, Utah, surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born on May 6, 1937, in Wasco, California, to George and Eleanor Morales. She grew up in a close-knit family that valued love, hard work, and togetherness — values that guided her throughout her life. She married the love of her life, Gilbert Gonzales, and together they built their version of the American dream.

Helen dedicated many years of her career to Rockwell International in Palmdale, California, where she proudly contributed to the aerospace industry, including work on aircraft and spacecraft that helped shape history.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gilbert; her parents, George and Eleanor Morales; and her brother, George. Helen is survived by her brother, Manuel, and her cherished sister, Ruthie; her children, Jerry and Danny Gonzales; and her grandchildren Alishia (Charlie), Jessica (Ryan), Triston (Brandy), Christina (Jeremy), Jerry Jr., Mary Helen, Cory, Sierra, and Cassandra. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Alexus (Tyler), Carissa (Evan), Aubree (Austyn), Danika, Levi, Axle, Laikin, Emmerson, AJ, Callie, Gabrielle, Rosaline, and Tyson; and great-great-grandchildren Ryder and Hudson. Helen leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, brother- and sister-in-law, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Helen found joy in life’s simple pleasures — planting flowers, shopping, sharing a good meal, and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She loved making homemade enchiladas, tamales, and menudo, dishes that brought everyone together around the table and reminded her family of the warmth and love she poured into everything she did. She also enjoyed sweet treats from See’s Candies, a small indulgence that always brought a smile to her face.

In her later years, Helen lived with a renewed spirit of joy and adventure. She could often be found playing baseball and soccer with her great-great-grandchildren or traveling from coast to coast to visit family members who adored her.

Her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life. Helen found peace and comfort in her weekly visits with Christ the King Catholic Church, where she worshiped and spent cherished time with friends Denise, Helen and Monica.

Helen lived her final years surrounded by love, laughter, and those who meant the most to her — living each day with gratitude and grace. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Our House Assisted Living, Helen’s caretaker Emily, Ethan Bunker, Mission Home Health and Hospice, Cedar Health and Rehab, and Brian with Cedar Valley Funeral & Cremation for their loving care, kindness, and support during this difficult time.
