Cedar City, Utah
With the heaviest of hearts, we gather here to honor the life and legacy of Julie Dennett— a woman whose presence lit up every room and
whose impact will be felt for generations.
Julie was born on January 29th, 1962,
to Clark and Vanda Dennett in Cedar City, Utah, where she resided in for the majority of her life.
She graduated with a bachelors degree in art from SUU. From a young age, her creativity was evident. She had an incredible talent as an artist—something she not only poured into her work but passed along to her children and grandchildren. Her art wasn’t just something she did—
it was who she was.
In 2004, Julie founded the Tombstone Tribute, dedicating herself to helping families in need for many years. That kind of service came naturally to her. She had a heart that was both fierce and tender—always ready to show up, give back, and lift others in whatever way she could.
Jewelz was the life of the party. The kind of person who could have you doubled over in laughter one moment and feeling completely seen and loved the next. She had the biggest heart—but let’s be honest—she could also write a book of comebacks and insults. She had no problem saying what was on her mind, good or bad. She was always honest.
Besides art, her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother. That role brought her more pride
and happiness than words could ever capture.
She tried hard to hold on—because that’s who she was. A fighter. A mother. A grandmother. A friend. A force.
Julie is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Madison, her parents Vanda and Clark, her brother Lance, her dear friend Pam, and many more who we’re sure were standing by with open arms to welcome her home.
We can only imagine the reunion that took place.
So many people waiting, so much love flooding back to her.
She is survived by her other children: her eldest daughter Terrah, her sons Cache and Branson, and her youngest daughter Brooklyn. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Kyson, Andy, Paxton, Valora, Ozzy Jane, Rhythm, and August—each of whom carry a piece of her spirit with them,
plus her future grandchildren to come.
Julie made an impression on everyone she met and impacted many lives. She loved deeply, laughed loudly, and lived with her whole heart for as long as she was able to. And while her absence will be felt every single day, her love, her stories, her sense of humor, and her strength will live on in all of us. She is finally healthy again and at peace.
