With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the triumphal completion of our beloved son’s mission on Earth on March 29, 2026. In his short 7-year life, Nathanael Starr Rees touched the lives of his family, friends, and neighbors with love and light. He used his sparkling and silly sense of humor to keep everyone around him happy and smiling. He loved to connect with people and share his joy of life.
He is survived by his parents, David & Connie Rees, and his siblings Alayna Wood (Josiah), James, Elizabeth, Isaac, and Lucy, along with grandparents, a young nephew, and many other extended family members who will miss him.
Nathan’s shining example and influence will be felt by his family always. His life was an example of how to live joyfully and love unreservedly. Little Nate has given his family reason to rejoice that through Jesus Christ “the grave should have no victory, and that death should have no sting.”
A Visitation will occur Thursday, April 2, from 5:30-7:00 pm at the LDS Chapel located at 290 West 1045 North. Services will be held on Friday April 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Visitation that day will begin at 10:00 a.m. just prior to the services.
