Roberta "Bobby" Garver Goetcheus Coffman
April 2, 1949 – July 30, 2026

Roberta "Bobby" Garver Goetcheus Coffman, 77, of Cedar City, Utah, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.

Born on April 2, 1949, in Giessen, Germany, to Robert and Melba Emma (Garver) Goetcheus, Bobby spent her youth in Columbus, Indiana, graduating from Columbus High School. She spent the first half of her life building deep roots across South Bend and Indianapolis, Indiana. She later lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, before making Cedar City, Utah, her home in 2021.

A dedicated healer and helper by nature, Bobby earned her undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Indiana University and touched countless lives through her career as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Bobby lived a life of quiet, steady service. She dedicated much of her time volunteering in the Mormon temple and the church storehouse.

Outside of her professional and church life, Bobby found profound joy in the simple, beautiful things of the world. She loved her dog, Summer, more than anything on this planet, along with a deep fondness for bunnies. She spent many happy hours planting and tending to her garden, getting lost in a good book, taking long walks with Summer, and bird watching—particularly for cardinals.

Bobby was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Melba; and her first husband, Jerry Wayne Coffman.

She is survived by her sister, Gayle; and her cherished children and their families:
• Brandy (Curtis) Moon, and their children:
o Devan Moon
o Jordan Wiscomb, and her children: Grayson, and Briar & Rowan (with Hunter Wiscomb) (Bobby's great-grandchildren)
o Weston (Gabby) Moon, and their child: Baylor (Bobby's great-grandchild)
o Trenton (Abby) Moon
• Leslie (Brett) Brindley, and her children: Kylee (Andy) Ho, AJ, Josie (Douda), Autumn, Asher, Lyla, and Ari; along with Brett's children, whom Bobby embraced as her own grandchildren: Brecklyn, Coy, Shelby, and Kinzlee.
• John (Michelle) Coffman, and their sons: Matthew, David, and Jacob.
• Katrina (Randy) Pawlowski, and their children: Ellie and Nolan.

Bobby is also survived by her former husband, Steve Turner, along with Steve's children—Laura, Kirk, Steve, Camille, Whitney, Indra, Alex, and Savannah—who were a cherished part of her life for many years.

In accordance with her final wishes, Bobby will be cremated, and her ashes will be spread among Dogwood trees, honoring her fondest childhood memories of playing in the Dogwoods in Indiana.
