Enoch, Utah
Rose Dianne Galeano, born March 7, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on February 11, 2026, in Enoch, Utah, at the age of 85. A devoted wife, mother, entrepreneur, and servant of Christ, Rose lived a life marked by diligence, faith, and an unshakeable joy that inspired everyone who knew her.
From a young age, Rose showed an uncommon drive and wisdom. At just 11 years old, she began investing in the stock market under the guidance of her grandmother. By 19, she had purchased her first home in Southern California, a milestone made possible by her determination and business savvy. Soon after, she married and became the proud mother of three children—Steve Calver, Sharon Brunck, and Julie Forth—all of whom she supported through college while balancing careers in banking and the medical field.
An energetic entrepreneur, Rose created and sold hand-made articles in her 30s and 40s, later studying accounting at 52 in Seattle. There she met the love of her life, Omar Galeano Sr., with whom she shared 33 beautiful years of marriage. Together they built and managed several businesses, where Rose served in nearly every capacity—CEO, CFO, HR manager, salesperson, bookkeeper, and typist extraordinaire. Her hard work and creativity led to partnerships and product exhibitions with major retailers including Amazon and Costco.
Yet Rose’s greatest accomplishment was her passionate service to the Lord Jesus Christ. She led multiple ministries, organized mission trips to Mexico and Washington, D.C., and personally distributed Christian tracts around the world. As one of the original eBay sellers, she took the opportunity to share her faith by including Gospel tracts with each sale—sending an estimated 100,000 throughout her lifetime. Even in her final days, despite physical pain, she continued her ministry work with perseverance and joy.
Rose will be remembered for her youthful spirit, cheerful presence, and deep faith. She had a gift for making others feel valued and uplifted, always turning life’s challenges into opportunities to testify of God’s grace.
Rose is survived by her beloved husband, Omar Galeano Sr., her children Steve, Sharon, and Julie, her brother Charles White and sister Kathleen Mills.
A viewing will be held at 2:00 p.m. followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. at Sonrise Christian Church, 6843 W 1800 N, Cedar City. Burial will follow at Enoch Cemetery, 5001 Veterans Memorial Dr., Enoch, Utah.
As Scripture declares:
2 Peter 3:9 — “The Lord is patient, not wishing for anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance.”
Matthew 28:19–20 — “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations.”
That is what Rose’s life was about.
