Timothy Eichorst

–

Cedar City, Utah

Timothy Orville Eichorst was born February 8, 1958 in Ballston Spa, Saratoga,
New York to Lewis and Irene (Reckner) Eichorst. Tim was the youngest of their
four sons.
Tim met June Valentino in New York in 2001. They started dating and then they
decided they wanted a change so they hit the road to explore the Unites States of
America on their Harley. They married in 2002 in Laughlin, Nevada. Tim bought
June her own Harley and complained that she would leave him in the dust. Hе
would often get in front of her to slow her down. Their adventures brought them
to Southern Utah. Their ride through The Gorge convinced them to settle in St.
George, Utah. They began their own trucking business, J & T Trucking, Inc. Their
trucks and equipment took them all over Southern Utah for many years. Tim not
only taught June how to ride a Harley, he taught her to drive every piece of
equipment they purchased including their own customized rigs.
Tim and June loved rocking hunting which included polishing, cutting, cabbing
and etching beautiful art work. Tim also loved wolfs and enjoyed decorating their
home with wolf artwork they picked up on their road trips.
Tim was diagnosed with cancer on May 15, 2026 and passed away at home on
June 19, 2026. His wishes are to be cremated and for June to carry on their rock
work and rock giving. When people left their home Tim's farewell was "get a rock
from the pile out there on your way out". June is keeping his tradition going.
Tim and June enjoyed 25 inseparable years of adventure, work, fun, joy, service
and love for each other and their dogs. Tim and June's giving hearts have
endeared them to their neighbors.
Tim is survived by June, two brothers, four children, four step-children and
many others. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
When Tim passed June's first thought was of the wedding vow she wrote for
him. Tim's wedding vow to her was I love you and I do. June sent Tim off with her
words "open arms, Baby, open arms" and has now added to her vows:

Open Arms:

Well I heard the news today, it seems my life is gonna change.
I close my eyes and begin to pray, then tears of joy stream down my face
With open arms, wide open
I tell you with my heart and soul, I give you all of me with my arms wide open,
with everything, my love, my soul
With my arms wide open
I take thee Timothy Eichorst with my heart
Well I heard the news today, it seems my life is gonna change,
Goodbye My Love,
I let you go with open arms until I see you again with our arms wide open.
